Nenetown is a Hololive Constructions (HoloCons) town dedicated to Hololive's 5th Generation Orange Representative, Momosuzu Nene-desu!
Established on a Peninsula at 5979,4659, Nenetown is situated gorgeously between a few biomes, giving it a uniquely chaotic yet fascinating environment to build, play and live in. A diverse landscape surrounded by vast oceans means that Husbands, Nekkos and Employees alike are free to stretch their creativity to its fullest extent.
Originally founded back in the Hololive Construstions BETA, Nenetown was brought to HoloCons proper by Patchuu_ (Patch) on March 24th 2021. Patchuu_ headed the town as Representative until November 2nd 2021, where after showing interest in retiring from their position, was formally usurped by Chestienut (Nut/Noot).
Nenetown prides itself on a free environment for all to express themselves. Much like our glorious wife/boss, we encourage our members to unleash their creativity, all under Nenechi's Watchful Eyes.
And of course, most importantly: No Divorce.
¶ Operations
¶ Membership and Rules
While prospective members require Representative Approval to be formally inducted into the town, other towns' and individual members are welcomed to build within and around the Nenetown Peninsula with Representative Approval. This falls under the scope of the Hyper Ultra Supreme Beautiful Nenechi Development Zones (H.U.S.B.N.D.Z) Initiative - a project to promote Nenetown's growth.
Building approval vary from area to area, with the Residential District only needing prior location approval, the Art District needing scale approval and the Commercial & Industrial District requiring representative approval.
¶ City Management
Despite not being separated into distinct areas, Nenetown does have a loose District system, in order to classify and organize builds within the main town areas. This allows for more efficient management of builds and for the representative to have a degree of control over the town's aesthetics and themes.

Administrative Area This Area includes the Storage Hall, the Town Hall (WIP), the Banner Pavilion and Portal-chan. Any past and future builds within the Area is meant for Nenetown's management only. The Storage Hall contains ample storage for any and all public materials shared amongst town members and can only be accessed after acquiring permissions from the representative. |

Residential District Located on the South face of the Peninsula, housing for members are located in the Residential District. This is also the most laxed building zone, allowing for all different types of builds without having to strictly comply to the building guidelines. The District does, however, require members to reserve a plot/area to build in before construction. |

Commercial & Industrial District Just West of the Administrative Area, you'll find the Commercial & Industrial District. Farms and more commercial/tourist types of builds are situated perfectly for visitors of Nenetown to thoroughly enjoy their time and find their way around the various sights to see as well as use some of Nenetown's publicly available farms. |

Art District Look over the hill East of the Residential District and you'll spot the giant Nekko marking the Art District. The Art District is, as the name implies, a place for art-oriented builds. This does NOT include maparts due to the area needed to make one. Due to this, art builds are also required to have scale approval in order to facilitate space for future art pieces. Note that art pieces are not limited only to the District. |
¶ Building Guidelines
While not all builds are required to stick to the guidelines, it is recommended that builds stick closely to the theming and color palette of the town. Following the guidelines is required for Administrative Area and Industrial builds.
Recommended Block Pallete
- End Stone, End Stone Bricks and it's varieties: stairs, slabs and walls.
- Acacia and it's derivatives.
- Dark Woods such as Dark Oak and Spruce and their derivatives.
- Jungle Wood and it's derivatives.
- Any Orange Blocks including but not limited to: Orange Concrete and Powder, Orange Stained Glass, Red Sand,…
- Any Yellow Blocks including but not limited to: Yellow Concrete and Powder, Yellow Stained Glass, Yellow Terracotta (Normal and Glazed),…
¶ Trivia
- Fitting of Lamy and Nene's TeeTee, Nenetown's nearest neighbour is Yukiguni. The two towns are connected by a 2000 block long highway, built by Patchuu_.
- The town's banner is an extremely faithful recreation of a taco. Why is it a taco? The explanation is as simple as it's conception:
"Taco.
Just a taco. In all it's glory"

- Despite multiple allegations made against it's management, Nenetown has never and never will steal development plans from Kiara's Fried Phoenix (KFP). NecDonald's is a complete coincidence.
