The Scoped Rifle has a durability of nine. and functions exactly the same as the spy glass. the Scoped Rifle also has the extra benefit of dealing damage to a mob or player when the player exits the zoom function with the with it. The Scoped Rifle will use up durability even if there isn't a mob or player in sight. The Scoped Rifle may replenish durability by simply putting eight arrows around it in the crafting table.
The Scoped Rifle belongs to the Botan collection and does not have a prerequisite to unlock it's recipe. The Scoped Rifle has a cheap cost to craft requiring:
The Scoped Rifle doesn't fire arrows, rather it does damage to the target directly when zooming out.
The Scoped Rifle will deal damage and use durability either if the player either stop holding the right mouse button or switch to another item in the hot bar.
The Scoped Rifle can be recrafted even if all the durability isn't used up. This will resulted in wasted arrows though.
The Scoped Rifle can even be recrafted even with full durability.
If only the Scoped Rifle is placed in crafting area, it may be crafted back into a spy glass.
The Scoped Rifle is able to ‘quick-scope’ but durability will be wasted as invincibility frames still apply.
Sometimes ‘quick-scoping’ an enemy too fast may result in two durability being lost instead of one.
Despite the Scoped Rifle being a weapon, it is not able to be enchanted.
When using the Scoped Rifle as a primary method of dealing damage, it's best to carry a lot of arrows and a crafting table as the Scope Rifle goes through durability fast.
Much like real life sniper rifles, the Scoped Rifle is able to be used to deal damage from far away and be fairly hidden allowing the player to act much in the same way as a sniper.
As long as cross hair is on some part of the mob or player''s hitbox, the Scoped Rifle will deal damage to them.
Due to the Scope Rifle not firing arrows, it can be used against Enderman quite well.
