¶ PekoNote
The PekoNote is an item that allows the user to input a specific player's name and makes any messages they send for 2 minutes and 59 seconds addpekoat the end. The name must be typed into the book's pages and will not work if they instead name the book the name of the player. The PekoNote will not be used if it doesn't recognize a player name, If the user needs to verify if the target's name is recognized, they can press ‘done’ instead of ‘sign’ to see if the name is recognized.
¶ Crafting
The PekoNote belongs to the Pekora collection and does not have a prerequisite to unlock it's recipe. The PekoNote has a cheap cost to craft requiring*:
- One Feather
- One Ink Sac
- Three Paper
- Four Rabbit Hide
- Despite the almost random nature of the of item placement for the PekoNote, the recipe is not shapeless and must be placed in this order*
¶ Notes
- Once a Pekonote has been signed, it is effectively useless.
- You can combine PekoNotes together however, and all names will merge into one book.
- The PekoNote will only work on one target at a time, any extra names added will be ignored.
- The PekoNote can be used on the user themselves if so they so desire.
- The PekoNote isn't case sensitive mean you can type the player's name either in all lower/uppercase and the Pekonote will still apply the effect.
- The Pekonote will only work on players in the current server where the PekoNote is used in. This means PekoNote used on the creative server will not work on a player in the survival server.
- Trying to PekoNote a player who is already afflicted with it will not work.
- The PekoNote will play a cave sound to both the user of the PekoNote and the player targeted by the PekoNote as a way to inform them that it worked.
- PekoNote also works along side the Dragon Horns
¶ Tips
- It's best to use the PekoNote on players who are actively messaging in chat.
- While there is no way to avoid the effects of the PekoNote, the afflicted user can either remain silent for the duration or use Discord to bypass the effect.
